The company COLUMBUS d.o.o. - travel agency, Trg kralja Tomislava 17, 20 340 Ploče, OIB: 44309081833, ID: HR-AB-21-060281387 (further referred "COLUMBUS travel") takes the protection and security of your personal data very seriously. That is why we want you to know when and what data we store and how we use them. With this privacy statement, we would like to inform you about our security regulations.
This document concerns the COLUMBUS travel website www.columbus.hr (the “Website”). By using this Website, you agree that your personal data will be treated in accordance with this statement.
Data collection
You may use our Website without disclosing your personal information. You are not required to provide us with your personal data as a condition of using the Website, unless you require professional, accurate and prompt service. When you use out Website, we may retain the data for various security reasons. Such information may include the name of your internet provider, the website through which you visited our Website, the website you visited from our Website and your IP address. This information could lead to your identification, but we do not use it for that. From time to time, we use the data for statistical purposes, but at the same time, we keep the anonymity of each user, so it is not possible to identify such a person.

We only collect the personal data if you make it available to us, e.g. by filling out the registration form or ordering our products and/or services by e-mail, submitting questions or requests about our products and/or services, and in similar situations, in which you choose to provide us with the personal data. The database and its content remain in our company and are processed by processors who work on our behalf and are accountable to us. Your personal data will not be provided to a third party (either directly or through an agent) in any form unless we have obtained your consent or if there is a legal basis to do so. The types of personal information we collect are as follows:
- Your name and surname, e-mail address, telephone number and address;
- Debit card information (debit card type, card name, expiration date and card security code);
- Information you provide about your marketing preferences, or when participating in surveys, competitions and promotionl offers.
Usage purpose
The data we collect will only be used for the purpose of providing our products and services or for other purposes for which you have given your consent, or unless otherwise stated by law.
Right of inspection and correction
As for all your personal data kept by us, you have the right to view, correct, supplement and delete them if they are incomplete, inaccurate and out of date. To do this, send us an e-mail to agencija@columbus.hr.
Right of withdrawal
You have the right, at any time, to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data and to request the termination of their processing, except in cases where the data are processed for statistical purposes, when your personal data no longer allow your identification. Data retaining
Personal data is kept for as long as necessary to provide the requested service or service for which you have given your consent to the data processing, unless otherwise stated by law (e.g. in connection to ongoing legal proceedings).
Use of cookies
We do not use the so-called "Cookies". Cookies are small text files kept in your device by using a browser. Cookies store certain information (such as the language of the operating system or site settings) and your browser may recognize your visits to websites (depending on your cookies expiration settings). Cookies can be changed in the browser settings.
Security
COLUMBUS travel uses technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data from manipulation, loss or access by unauthorized persons. Any personal data you provide us with is encrypted each time it is transferred, to prevent its misuse by a third parties.
Children
Regarding the importance of protecting the privacy of children, we do not collect, process or use any information about persons we know to be under the age of 16 on our website without the prior and trusted consent of a legal guardian. The legal guardian has the right to request access to the information provided by the child and can request its deletion.
Consumer consent
By submitting a question, I expressly declare that I have voluntarily provided my personal data to COLUMBUS travel and allow them to use it honestly and legitimately in all acts, in which I have entered into a contract with a travel agency in order to protect my personal interests.
The travel agency is obliged not to bring the personal data of the participant out of the country or to provide them to a third party, except for the purpose of providing the required service.
The consumer agrees that their personal data may be used for the purposes of the travel agency's marketing campaigns.
I expressly allow the COLUMBUS travel agency to use my personal data honestly and legitimately in its records at home and abroad.
I agree that COLUMBUS travel may use my personal information in accordance with the above conditions.
